About us

Tissiniva Chalet, Switzerland (2011)

Beginning as swim, tennis and surf instructors, the twins went on to be tutors and long-term substitute teachers (K-12) for dozens of schools across the SF Bay Area. In college, Michael apprenticed under a school psychologist to work with troubled youth. Charlie joined the Ronald McDonald camp to work with children coping with cancer. Following the credential program, Charlie chose to be the primary parent for his daughter and Michael became an Applied (Data) Scientist at a tech company. But neither lost their passion for helping kids laugh and learn.

Chawi & Wockle (Charlie and Michael's childhood names for one another) are most known for their role as co-stars in Netflix's "You Are What You Eat", finalists in Food Network's "Chopped" and the winner's of "The Great Food Truck Race" (Series 7). The identical twins are better known among their friends as educators. The twins completed their science and math teaching credential programs, respectively, at SFSU.
